The river is a place that may connect many important fields in the city: environment, architecture, city planning, transport but also arts, culture, cultural tourism and education. We want to work in a cross-sectorial way. We believe the river is an important factor in the city, and we want to emphasize its values and focus on its environment. Working around this shared perspective and focus, the Rivers of Change Project seeks to engage Cultural Managers, Social Outreach and Community Facilitators, Local Authority Representatives, Researchers and Lobbyists to explore rivers as an urban territory for development and as a tool for social inclusion.
