About river//cities

Council

Acting pursuant to §21 of the Foundation’s Bylaws the Board decides to establish the River//Cities Platform Foundation’s Council as its advisory body. Representatives of organisations/institutions and individuals that want to be active within the Platform can be River//Cities Foundation Council members.


The Council Members shall especially:   
-      
contribute to defining strategies of the River//Cities Platform Foundation
-      
participate in at least one River//Cities project or event per year
-     
Include River//Cities in at least one own activity per year
-      
promote River//Cities internationally and locally in all possible ways e.g. events, press releases, promotional materials, presentation of River//Cities short films, fund-raising, partners search, translations, providing information for web site etc.
-      
attend the annual meeting
-      
take part in River//Cities events and projects
-      
choose Activity Group
-      
put the logo and link of www.river-cities.net on their own website in a visible position.

Only Foundation Council Members representatives can be elected to the River//Cities Foundation’s board.

 

Foundation Council Members representatives have a right to vote during the Foundation Council’s meetings. The decisions of the Council are made by consensus and only when necessary, on the basis of majority voting.
